Useful information

Vasquez Rocks is home to The Interpretive Center, winner of The Platinum (highest level) of certification by the U.S. Green Building Council in the LEED Green Building Rating system.

 Visitors will find information on Hollywood’s filming, reptile exhibits, geological information and more.

Restrooms and water fountain are available when the Interpretive Center is open. Portable toilets are available when the Interpretive Center is closed.

Take a one-hour FREE ranger-guided hike on the second, third and fourth Sundays of each month. Hikes start at 11 a.m. at the park office – January to June & October to December
